Teachers are packrats and we hold onto things for far too long. The books in my library are well-loved. We send books to the 'hospital' but there's only so much tape can do. My happiest moments are when children get excited about reading. I love introducing students to authors such as, Roald Dahl and Judy Blume. The books I have selected are from various genres and authors in hopes of piquing interests. Students will use these books for literature and author studies. In addition, they will be used for reading groups based on abilities and interests. Many of the books will be used as a catalyst for writing activities. These books will be a part of our classroom library for all students to enjoy! Please considering helping students become be lifelong readers!
