I am looking to create a classroom where students take calculated chances and explore to learn new math concepts. I have chosen these math materials as they incorporate different learning types. This way students who learn well by reading will learn math concepts by reading "Sir Cumference" while students who learn well using manipulatives will learn by using "Math Stax". I also want to introduce technology to my students by using digital "Mathalicious" lessons. This technology would otherwise not be available to my students. I have included a "Scholastic" subscription that is geared to middle school students to help them learn new age appropriate concepts and become critical thinkers.
