The students in my class are 6-8th graders that have been both at home and school for the past year and a half. The materials the school district has given us have become mostly digital in the past year. My students learn math, language and literature and writing in this class. The technology I have to present to my students does not allow them to see clearly or participate in the lesson as the projector is outdated and the screen is old and unclear. Updating the way students see what I am teaching allows them to interact through their Chromebooks, my ELMO, and with each other as throughout the year COVID will still cause some students to quarantine. Getting this television will allow me, my fellow teachers and my students to share math videos, math manipulatives, notes, mentor text, writing samples, and many more interactive lessons with each other.
