I plan to create a maker space in my classroom which will offer a wealth of development and challenges to inspire kids - challenges to awaken innovation and creativity. In addition, I team teach with three other classrooms who would also have opportunities to learn and explore. I have found science an excellent conduit to draw students into all disciplines from reading, writing and math. I enjoy creating a stimulating classroom environment that draws kids in and engages them so much that they do not even know that they are learning.
