Our fourth and fifth grade students have never learned how to play a musical instrument. By donating a set of ukeleles, you will provide them with the opportunity to show their musical talent and be a part of something so amazing such as an orchestra that will perform at the End of the Year Show. From classics like the Beatles and Elvis Presley, to today's artists like Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, our students will learn how to play the chords of their favorite songs. We will also work on synchronization and the correct technique to hold and strum the ukelele. As they advance in the school year, our goal will be to put together a performance where they can sing and play at the same time. That is a great skill that will stay with them wherever they go.
