  • Travel the World Through Books

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

We are so excited!!! We gratefully appreciate your generosity. In fact, today we were just discussing all the books we still need to read to reach our classroom goal! You have now made that goal possible and reachable. Thank you for making our classroom more colorful. Thank you for contributing to reading!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Nuno

  • Back to the Basics!

    Funded Aug 3, 2022

I am honored that you choose my classroom to support. This means more than you know! Due to the pandemic, school has been crazy to say the least. However, your help goes a long way. These materials are essential to getting back down to the basics. Thank you for being a part of our learning journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Nuno

  • Welcoming Library

    Funded Sep 22, 2021

Thank you for your generosity. My students love the library stool and books. My "star student" of the day has the privilege of using the library stool and reads to classmates. The stool is a great asset and makes my students feel so special when they get to use it. The material is easy to wipe and sanitize, which is essential during these times. The booklets were a great tool during our math workshop time. Students utilized these booklets when they complete their daily math work. The math activities were easy to follow and provided multiple representation for student learning. I'm honored that you picked our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Nuno

Please help my students enjoy their classroom library. The theme of my library is "Travel the World Through Books". My students are very diverse, some of who are new to the United States from Afghanistan. I want to make my classroom feel safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive. My students enjoy all types of books. We are going to read books together, then see if we can pin point what part of the world the characters or story takes place at. Then we will pin on the map. I am hoping to expand and diversify my classroom library.
