Some of the materials will be used to help my students develop their fine motor skills which will help them learn to write better. Simple things such as Legos, Magna Tiles, or Play-Doh can help students develop their hand motor skills. My plan is to incorporate these items in our everyday use so that they are using their hands more and developing their hand motor skills. On my wishlist, I've also included hands-on learning items that will allow my students to develop their social skills. The pandemic has made it difficult for many students to be out socializing with others therefore they are missing out on learning and practicing social skills. By playing with items such as a play kitchen, students will learn to work together and practice ways to work with others.
