Each day we will be using the iPad to direct the class in learning phonics. The students will be able to see the examples on the screen and then they can transfer what is being taught to their own manipulative kit. I love using technology in my classroom but hate being tied to the computer to click through the slides. When I am stuck at the computer it is difficult to get to all of the students to check their level of understanding. Having an iPad to use while I am walking through the room will help them to be better engaged and not be a distraction to others.
