  • How Can Virtual Reality Be Used to Improve Education?

    Funded Nov 2, 2022

Thank you for your support these VR sets will offer and provide my students with fun and unique virtual realities activities to learn Science, STEAM and other subjects that will allow them to enjoy a 21st-century learning experience. My students can perform hands-on virtual exercises with extra devices like the Leap Motion sensor controller. VR does not only benefit students but it also has advantages for the workplace.

Virtual reality also can help my students lo learn sciences concept that are difficult to learn simply from a textbook. Take a journey through the human cell or explore the skeletal system in virtual reality. See how the human heart pumps blood throughout the circulatory system.

Additionally, Virtual Reality has the ability for my students to create virtual tours. This creates an advantage for Title I School and students who seek attendance there by getting a glimpse of the University lifestyle. Education and VR go hand in hand.”

    With gratitude,

In the STEM classroom setting, my primary purpose is to create a space where students explore inquiry-based learning in a fun and innovative way by establishing a foundation for scientific thinking and ideas. I will give my students opportunities to research, problem-solve, and collaborate with peers as they persevere through challenging tasks. When they engage in critical thinking skills and develop skills that are necessary both within and outside the school setting. This type of work doesn’t easily transfer online. Still, it’s my goal to provide my students with the best access to STEM activities through learning experiences, intentional instruction, and presentations. For these reasons, I was able to team with NASA STEM Engagement, to deliver tools for my students to learn and succeed. My goal is to create digital students as innovators. My students will be able to be involved in critical thinking, reasoning, teamwork, investigation, creative and work on different digital platforms. STEM NASA activities, Programing, Coding Drones will also give me the opportunity to engage my students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
