Over the years I have seen my students having a harder time sitting still in 'traditional seating' in the classroom. Since Covid, my class has been instructed to sit for longer periods of time, which can cause students to lose interest, increase of behavior issues, and interfere with their overall learning. I would truly love to bring FLEXIBLE SEATING into my classroom; it would give my students unique ways of sitting within the classroom that would target their attention and focusing skills. By giving children alternative ways to sit during instruction can assist them to find their 'center' and help with any sensory issues they may have. Children need to move! Offering Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats, Wobble Cushions, Flex-Space Wobble Chairs, and Ball Seats, would assist my students to improve their core strength, and increase their ability to remain alert and focused.
