  • Speak Out Against Bullying!

    Funded Feb 17, 2024

Thank you so much for funding this project. I am a huge advocate for antibullying. It made my heart full to receive these supplies to fulfill my antibullying campaign.

My students had so much fun creating posters and flyers to promote kindness around our fourth grade hallway. These supplies were top notch. They enjoyed and were proud of the materials they created.

They went into classrooms and shared what they had learned about antibullying. Friends were made. I am so proud of my students spreading positivity to other students.”

    With gratitude,

  • I Can't Learn When I'm Hangry Take 2!

    Funded Jan 16, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to this project. I am extremely grateful for the donations and gift codes provided to fund this project.

I work at a title one school and many of my students do not have snack money. I am happy to provide snacks for my students that can not afford snacks. My students were very excited when I offered them snacks. Students can now have a snack to recharge before practicing their math skills.

Thanks to you my students do not worry about food during instructional time. I am currently working on a project for new books for our classroom library.”

    Funded Jan 31, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous support of Southaven Intermediate School. I look forward to my students researching weather patterns of tornadoes and hurricanes. Thank you to the Center of Disaster and Philanthropy for bringing this funding to us. We are very grateful to you. I know my students will be very excited for the use of the iPads.”

  • Helping the Visually Impaired Experience Reading Independently

    Funded Sep 18, 2023

Thank you so much for giving so generously to this project. This project was for a scanner/reader pen with headphones with charging device for my visually impaired student. These devices have enjoyed my student to listen to many read to me books on epic. While he has not mastered the reader pen yet, I have faith that he will. I will also use the pen with my English Language Learners as the pen will translate books into English as well.

I can not express my thanks enough for providing for my disabled students who need extra time and care. God Bless You.”

  • Classy Classroom Take Four!

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project for classroom basics. My students were so excited to begin school with new supplies. My students are especially excited to use the new carpet sweeper for our classroom. I was very surprised at how many more students wanted to participate in clean up time at the end of the day. The carpet stickers also helped as the carpet was no longer sliding causing students to trip on the floor. All of the supplies have been a blessing and we could not be more grateful to you.”

  • Classy Classroom, Take Two

    Funded Aug 5, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project for classroom basics. My students were so excited to begin school with new supplies. My students are especially excited to use the new crayon sharpener for our classroom. Many students never seen a crayon sharpened and were very amazed at how well the crayons colored after sharpening.

Students were also excited to each receive a new box of crayons. It may not seem like much to us adults, but it meant a lot to my students. There is something wonderful about a nice new box of sharp crayons. All of the supplies have been a blessing and we could not be more grateful to you.”

  • Classy Classroom!

    Funded Jul 25, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project for classroom basics. My students were so excited to begin school with new supplies. My students are especially excited to use the new large calendar for our classroom. I write what I am teaching daily on the calendar with our new expo markers as well as when we are testing and when important dates are coming up. Students are doing well with keeping up with these important dates and times.

We are also using the new Astrobrights paper as scratch paper during tests. The students are better at showing their work with the fun paper. All of the supplies have been a blessing and we could not be more grateful to you.”

  • Folders, Folders, Folders

    Funded Jul 18, 2023

Thank so much for supporting this project. The students were so excited to walk in on the first day of school and see their new school supplies. Their new orange math folders and folder organizer are especially a favorite for both the students and the teacher.

The students are keeping their math independent work organized. The mesh bags are great for keeping small supplies orderly at students desks so they are not getting up and down distracting other students during lesson time.

I am currently working on a project for a document camera to use during my lessons to project images onto my whiteboard. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

  • Pointy Pencils!

    Funded Jun 23, 2023

My students were so excited to see the new supplies for the classroom when they walked in the first day of school. They especially loved the pencil storage container with new pencils that looks like a straw dispenser. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. It holds all the sharpened pencils and saves so much time by students not looking at each pencil before picking one to use for the day.

The new whiteboard markers make our math problems look nice and crisp on the board. The erasers work like a charm and the cleaner spray transforms our whiteboard into something brand new.

Thank you so much for your generosity and supporting this project. I am currently working on a project for two more spacious desks for my classroom, a reader pen for my visually impaired student, afternoon snacks, and a document camera. Without you none of these things would be possible, you fill my heart.”

I am going into my second year of teaching in August 2022. I went back to school three years ago at 45 years old to fulfill my need to make a difference in the lives of children. This will be my second year teaching Math to some awesome 4th graders . Being a new teacher, I am still growing my materials and resources. I am working hard to incorporate more technology and differentiation in my classroom. My students are 9-10 years old. They love to learn when lessons are engaging and fun. My students are from low income households that can not afford extra supplies and sometimes any school supplies at all. I want to create a safe loving environment so my students can do their best. I know my students will be so excited to use these resources funded by donors this school year!
