We recently had a book tasting even within the classroom, where the students were able to pick up and try out different genres. They were so excited and attentive with their reading and they genuinely enjoyed the experience. I want to provide more books for them to be excited about. A book they can look forward to reading during independent reading or buddy reading centers. Books we can easily use to do quick book reports on. Reading is such an important factor in education, especially in young learners. No matter what age, there is always a feeling of excitement when you get a new book in your hands. A new library will offer a better print rich environment for my classroom.
