Keep Calm And Party On!
Funded Sep 28, 2021Today was Rock Your School Day and we got the chance to use some of the resources donated to us. The resources we got to use were the neon hats, inflatable microphones, inflatable guitars, and the concert backdrop. The students looked so good in their neon hats! They had a blast having educational rock and roll activities throughout the day. Their initial reaction to seeing their props was so cute. To say that they were excited when they saw them is an understatement! At the end of the day I had many students tell me this was the best day and when I told them that our generous donors made it possible for us to have this classroom transformation they were extremely grateful. Once again thank you for allowing me to give my students these experiences. As a first year teacher I don't think that I would have been able to do this on my own and for that I am eternally grateful.”
With gratitude,

Funded Oct 5, 2021Thank you for allowing me to give my students an extra meal a day. As a teacher in a low-income area I see how many of my students highly rely on the food they get at school to get nourished. Your generous donation will allow my students to focus on their learning and not their hunger. My students were very happy when I told them we had some generous donors give to our project so that they could have more snacks. They all wanted to write a thank you letter but because that isn't possible they wanted me to relate their message to you which was "thank you so much for donating!"
Once again, thank you for your generosity!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Argueta
We've Got Magnetic Personalities!
Funded Sep 2, 2021I am writing this letter to thank you for your donations to our Magna Tiles project. As a first year teacher I can not even begin to thank you enough for your donations. It can be so hard to get all the resources you want as a first year teacher, so your generosity means the world to me. The look on my students faces when I told them that we had some generous donors donate to our class so that we could have Magna Tiles was priceless. The sweetest part was hearing them come up with different possible ways to thank our donors.
Through your generous donation my students have had the chance to have hands-on materials for our math lessons. We have been able to use them for our math centers to learn about 3-D shapes. We also had the chance to go on a walk around the school grounds to analyze the shapes in our environment. After our walk we came back to our class to recreate those shapes using Magna Tiles.
My goal with the Magna Tiles was to provide my students with educational hands-on learning experiences that they will remember. By donating to my project you helped me execute that. I am beyond grateful for your generosity, but the ones that are being impacted by this the most are my students, and for that I thank you.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Argueta
