These books will help us to enhance students' vocabulary. They are a great source of material that students have enjoyed reading over the years and have fostered discussions in the classroom. We are starting a reading program to help our students to become more fluent readers and to help them build their confidence. Reading gives students freedom and confidence that helps them to take control of their lives. Students need good literature to help them connect with books so they are not so scary. These books will help provide them with that opportunity.
