Thank you so much for the ten frames and counting materials that you gave to our school. Our school went under a major renovation. They are still working on the play ground. Many of the students are coming to school for the very first time in kinder. Having the colorful counting blocks allowed for building centers for the students to play at since they are limited with their reading skills. Little by little they are starting to count and make associations with numbers and their values. The tens frames are the biggest asset in that we use them all the way up into 2nd grade where we are teaching students place values, and how to add and subtract. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! For helping with very much needed manipulatives. It has been a blessing for you to have responded so early in the year and we have used every last one of the blocks for counting, sorting, grouping, adding and subtracting.
