  • Kindergarteners in Need of a Kidney... ASAP!

    Thank you so much for supporting this important project. My students and I are overjoyed to finally have our kidney table in our classroom to use during our small group, one-on-one and assessment times. Having the opportunity to work closely with small groups of students or with individuals has maximized our learning time and experience in a way I never expected.

    Each day during our math and literacy blocks, I have the opportunity to work more closely with students who need extra assistance or enrichment. Since I have started working with these small groups, I have seen continued improvement in their desire to work and learn and in their scores on checklists and assessments. They are thrilled each day when I call out the name of their small group.

    I am extremely grateful for the community support my classroom has received, especially through this project. Thank you for supporting students and teachers!”

I'm looking to have this kidney table funded to give my sweet Kindergarteners a space to work with small groups and with me individually. My students deserve that hands on, differentiated and individualized time to really grasp concepts and learn what they need to continue to be successful. The chance to work with small groups and with me will make my kidney table the heart and soul of the room. Literacy and math are a central focus of each day in our classroom. My students adore every opportunity they have to pick up a good book and read with me. They love counting with exciting and engaging materials. They are so invested in their learning in these areas, and I know this kidney table will give them the opportunity to dive so much deeper. We thank you so much in advance for supporting our learning and growing!
