The return to in-person learning has created a need for students to have their own materials, which is not always accessible to parents. Teaching ELA is interactive and students need visual anchor charts, utensils, and basic supplies to be successful. Students engage in various reading and writing activities, all of which require items included on the list, including notebooks, pencils, and highlighters. Donating will enhance their academic performance and provide access to material that would otherwise be out of reach for dozens of young developing minds. The best way to have a future is always to create it and that is what I aim to teach my students.
