My first grade students face a lot of challenges in their little lives, but they (and I) remain motivated that they're exposed to as many learning opportunities as possible! I've included a lot of social/emotional materials in this project, because my students will be learning a lot about identify and regulating their emotions this year. My first graders also learn best with hands-on, engaging learning materials. That's why I've included materials where students can explore concepts through games and cultural literature. My students will be so excited about the educational games!
