Thank you so much for the items that you help purchase for my classroom. It has been very beneficial for the students and their learning. The rewards charts allowed for my students to see what they are working towards. When I add a star to their chart they stay more focused. When the chart gets filled and they earn their reward, they get very excited. Having students with autism can be a challange, but very rewarding as well.
Reading time is crucial and a big part of our day. My students love Pete the Cat and were so excited to see the new books. The students are always engaged during reading time. We all appreciate the Donors!”

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students, paraprofessionals and I greatly appreciate you giving to our classroom. The scholars that I teach have varied disabilities and have ASD. Their attention span is very short. The fidgets were a huge help.
When my students saw the new supplies they were excited. The fidgets allowed them to get some of their energy out and sit and produce some work. They also know that they have a small reward that they are earning towards. This can be the stickers or small toy. The tactile items are a great vessel for learning and also for them to build strength and coordination.
So, thank you again for thinking about my class.”

I wanted to thank you all so much for helping fund my project. I will be able to try and make my classroom as friendly and inviting as possible, especially after a crazy year last year and one that is still looking "not the norm." Having a refrigerator and microwave will allow the kids to bring their own food to eat. For some students that is comfort. Also, having a spare mask in emergencies and not having to worry will alleviate some anxiety.
Again I that you all!”

The students as well as the teachers will be eating in their rooms do to the current safety restrictions. I would love to have a place where the kids have the option of putting their food and drinks in the mini fridge. Also the microwave to heat up their food. Many kids prefer food from home. I also like to keep extra snacks just encase a students does not get to eat for some reason outside of school. The children (and adults) have been through so much the last year and I would like a welcoming space.
