• It Would Be a Bee's Knees Please: Bug Exploration!!!

  Much appreciated! You are bringing so much joy and curiosity to my classroom students. Because of your kindness and love for what we do as teachers as helped me bring more materials to my students to enrich their learning and environment to help them learn more about insects. We were able to get visitors in the class also to enhance their learning. The insect life cycles were their favorite, but I can't find the photos right. Please again we say thank you for your investment in our children's future. You have left a legacy of learning in my class.”

• Treasures Inside a Book

  Books open up a new world view for children. They can spark curiosity, adventure, and a love of learning. It is so neat seeing the children selecting books as their free choice activity instead of blocks, art or dramatic play for instance. Some children gather a group of children and pretend to read to them and will ask each other questions based off of the illustrations inside the books. It warms my heart and helps me know that giving small children the ability to have a love for reading is important to their development and education that will help them in their future. Thank you donors for believing in my vision of enhancing our classroom library and leaving a legacy of learning in my classroom.”

• Keep It All Together!

  Happiness and gratitude are words that come to mind when I look at my students faces who are looking in their binders sharing their work with other people. I am so thankful that I listened to my teacher assistant when she said see if Donor Choose can help get our class binders. We had asked the school and the large binders were not in the school budget. The small binders doesn't allow for the children to keep their best work in one place all school year long. These large binders are great durable and allows the children to take them back and forth from school to home to share with their families. It's their own little portfolio of accomplishments. Thanks donors for putting smiles on my students little faces.”

• ABC… I Want to Learn How to Read!

  Thanks to all who donated materials to my classroom to help make the class environment literacy rich. The Alpha Robots and Alpha Bubbles were a big success in my class. The students used them to help with first name recognition and things that begin with the letter that they had selected from the set. The rhyming house activity purchased by you was a great small group activity for the children to work together to find the matching sound. The puzzles that were donated are being used to help the students learn how to work as a team and problem solve. Sometimes all goes well and the students complete the puzzles with no issues. For those other times we will continue towards our goal of working together . Thanks again for the donation of great educational resources for my class.”

• Little Artist

  Thanks to everyone who believed in my students and their need to have some quality art materials. The children were so happy to open up the boxes and packages from the donors to find art supplies that were for them. All the materials were used by the students to create puppets, abstract art, dough rolling, and etc. The children created dolls that look like them for our classroom all about me theme. For Grandparents Day at school the students created bracelets with the piper cleaners to give as a gift to their grandparents.”
