Programming Dot and Dash Robots

I can't thank you enough for your generosity! I am extremely grateful, and my students are going to be very excited about this addition to our technology classroom. Students will gain a good understanding of block coding with the robots and will be able to program the robots to perform various tasks. This will boost student's confidence because they will be building the blocks of code, see their code run and work right before their eyes. Thank you again for your help in this mission.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Young Sheldon on CBS and 3 other donors.

These Dot and Dash robots will highly support the amazing Welch Middle School Robotics Team to program each robot in order to compete in various Tech Challenges. Students will have the opportunity to apply individual skills to each Dot and Dash robots. The reason we need multiple robots is to develop the students' programming skills and expand their creative process. These Dot and Dash robots will allow students to work outside of class to complete homework assignments. Kids can watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings.
