The materials created with the Cricut will help give our students a welcoming environment because they will be able to see themselves proudly displayed, such as creating positive messaging and affirmations on the bulletin boards the students can see every day for self-motivation. When children see themselves, it confirms they are wanted and that school is a safe place. When my students find the need to express their emotions, they will have the ability to express themselves through art using the Cricut. All of these efforts are in an attempt to increase their self-esteem which will translate into improved grades and school attendance.
