Funded May 3, 2022Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Due to your donation, I was able to provide my students with numerous sensory activities and strategies to use while in the classroom. My students have Autism Spectrum Disorder, making it necessary to provide sensory activities daily. They are used to help teach new concepts and as coping strategies for self regulation.
Some of my favorite lessons included the materials you kindly donated towards. We did a space week, where we used our space sensory bins to practice vocabulary to increase language. Additionally, we used these materials for our first annual sensory field day. During sensory field day, the four Autism Spectrum Disorder classrooms (grades K-5) joined together for a fun filled day of sensory input. It was a blast, all thanks to your help!”
With gratitude,
