Our library book cart has broken and our circulation is increasing! Now that we are back in person, students are using the library like never before. We have a reading challenge for 2021/22 with the goals of connecting readers with each other: there is a leaderboard in our commons with students/books they have read, we meet for a BYO lunch on Fridays to chat books, and we have a school-wide goal of increasing our literacy rates. Though, with a broken cart (yes, I tried many ways to fix it), it is hard to move books and a new cart will help our library. That means students are checking out books like never before and we need a book cart to keep books shelved.
