My five and six year old students come full of energy and eagerness to learn. The addition of these different seating options, such as the lap desks and wiggles stools, will allow each student to choose how they learn best whether it be leaning, rocking, wobbling, seating, or even standing. Choice is a powerful motivator! Providing different manipulatives for hands on learning will help them construct an understanding of various ideas that they can apply. These tools, including the Play-Doh and wooden construction sets, will help make their learning concrete. The plastic storage bins will allow me to organize and provide differentiated activities for students to work at their own pace. By donating to my project, you will help my students achieve their best!
