we are so eager to rebuild our new garden beds. The students are so eager to knock down the old ones and rebar with the new aluminum ones to ensure that they are around for years to come. Students will be able to garden of variety of different vegetables and even flowers to show, how to see different types of vegetables. They will get hands on learning about how to garden. Also get the chaste fresh vegetables that a lot of students might not have access to. They will have access to cucumbers, tomatoes, wildflowers, and abundance of different types of vegetables that they might not have access to for the community. This will not only just reach kindergarten but for multiple grades across the school. Thank you for the extra bags of dirt to ensure that we have healthy vegetables and fruit that are growing effectively.”

  • Get Those Hands Moving

    Funded Aug 23, 2022

This project has implemented so many different activities in the classroom. We have been using our fine motor skills to do letter identification and also numeral recognition as well.

The students are so glad to be able to use these during centers in order to increase knowledge of the alphabet and also of their numbers. Thank you so much for allowing me to have hands on learning with the students in my classroom. At this age it is important to incorporate sensory and hands on into learning As a new teacher, this has been such a different transition but I love to see the students interact with all the different materials that we have.”

  • Scientist and Explorers

    Funded Aug 26, 2022

This project has impacted my classroom so much. Every school year teachers are required to create their own science and social studies curriculum. It can be so hard to plan things that include hands-on experience while also ensuring that students are integrating their science and social studies standards experience into it as well. With this donation I was able to purchase hands on learning experience for science and social study learners. The entire K Team is super thankful, We get to focus on learning about plants and animals and other scientific nature is dealing with the environment. Students get to learn about the people around us and how they are a community and how they are affecting that community as well. I love being able to show my students The history of the world and how to experience it hands-on. Thank you so much for allowing me to be able to give this to my current students and feature students to come.”
