All my students enjoy coming into my classroom and finding "their place." This is important to me as their place may not be at a typical desk/chair. They enjoy moving around the room, fidgeting with objects, and/or changing up the norm. These stools give the students a chance to do this and enjoy their space and learning that is going on in the room. With only five, they'd learn the importance of sharing and thinking about others needs as well as their own. Hopefully it will bring to light what works well for their learning needs. In addition, I added the TIME magazine to my order. I've noticed that most materials at my site is fictional text. With the use of TIME magazine, the students will not only have opportunity to dive into Nonfiction but stay current with events that are happening today. We could also use the magazine for writing when we're studying persuasive and informational reporting.
