I work in a self contained special education classroom. This is my first year working with this population so I am trying to build a collection of supplies, materials, and resources to build my classroom. I serve 9th and 10th graders with moderate intellectual disabilities, Autism spectrum disorder, and adaptive, behavioral and medical needs. My classroom shares resources with 4 other self contained teachers, so when another teacher is using the supplies my class can not. My room is also on the other side of our 3 story school which makes it hard to access the resources to begin.
