All of these materials will be used daily by my students. The grip foam tubing is perfect for my students to grip supplies such as writing utensils, kitchen utensils, and hygiene materials for us to work on fine motor skills. The desk fan can be used to be connected to an adaptive switch to learn about cause and effect as well as modified learning. The shredder is important for students to use to work on vocational and life skills; they can practice this which can help them in the future when they receive their certificate of completion and transition to a career center where they will have vocational skills to be able to assist and work. Classroom Jobs board will allow students to again use vocational skills, allow for autonomy, and assisting in daily duties and jobs in the classroom and at school. Double Sided magnetic money, is perfect for my students with visual impairments, as well as working on money identification and fine motor skills. The daily schedule pocket chart will allow me to schedule different day time classroom duties for students to do learn the sense of responsibility as well as pride in their work and job. The velcro will be used for communication means such as boards, schedules, charts, first then, and adaptive materials. The adaptive switch will allow students that are nonverbal or that don't have a communication device a voice or the means to speak or open/close things, and explore different technology and equipment. The timer can be used to keep track of activities, behaviors that may occur, seizures, and more. The busy board puzzle works on fastening and unfastening in different ways that students will be using in their daily lives, and also works on fine motor skills.
