Many students have feelings of fear and anxiety about learning math. After an unpredictable year of virtual, and hybrid learning, students returning to the classroom in the fall deserve to enter a space that is warm and welcoming.
These supplies will help transform our math classroom/ homeroom space into a "mathtastic" space for learning! Students will be able to use the fraction tiles, Multiplication Machine, chart paper, and number line to help them build confidence in their math skills. The rug, play-doh, and string lights will help create a cozy space for independent math work, reading or just taking a break. I have also included a few classroom necessities like stickers, pencils, and a pencil sharpener.
