I am a first year teacher and I have very few things for my classroom, I teach a very diverse group of students with some being on the autism spectrum and most being nonverbal. My parents are like all other parents and they want their child given equal chance at learning. My students require special assistance and adaptive materials to make education appropriate to their specific needs. These materials include sensory items such as the blocks that I chose and the adaptive pencils and visual writing papers. The balls will allow for play both inside and outside of the classroom.
