Students in my Kindergarten classroom will have a writing journal, a math journal, a writing folder, personal hands-on math and literacy activities suited to their academic goals, a supply box for daily tools and more. Many of these materials will be right at their fingertips with these storage sacks. Having these storage sacks will help reduce the time for transitioning and crowding around a central area to gather materials throughout the day. This will not only maximize teaching time but also maximize students' learning and independent work time. As a bonus, they will also help to foster independence and responsibility.
