Capturing Memories: Photography & Yearbook Program for K-2 Special Education
Funded Sep 18, 2024Thank you so much for all of your support. My students are so excited to participate in this project and capture their friends during school year. Funded Feb 20, 2023We started our duck incubation project last week in my classroom! My students were so excited to hear that we would be watching the process of a duck embryo developing and hatching. They can not wait to see our ducklings. The students have been amazed watching the embryos develop over the last 10 days.
Currently, our duck embryos hearts have started beating, they have begun to develop wings, legs, and beaks. Their eyes are developing and becoming more complex and we are starting to see lots of movement when we candle our eggs! The students love candling the eggs and tracking the differences from day to day. They were so surprised to see them start moving so much. Over the next few days the beak, feathers, and nails will continue to grow.
We have 19 days left to go and we are so excited to continue to watch the embryos develop and eventually meet our ducklings. This project would not have been possible without you!”

A Picture Perfect School Year!
Funded Feb 11, 2022This project was so special to me and all of the students at my school. What started as a small classroom yearbook project, became a yearbook project for all the 8th graders at my school.
With the materials included in this project, we were able to ensure that each of our graduating 8th graders had a cap and gown photo to remember their accomplishments. We were also able to use those photos to create a wonderful 8th-grade yearbook to give as a graduation gift to all of the graduates.
In addition to making an 8th-grade yearbook, I was able to take school photos of all of my students and create a classroom yearbook for each of the students to remember this fun and exciting school year for years to come. Thank you so much for your generosity and know that you made such an impact on a wonderful group of students!”

Gumball Rewards!
Funded Jan 26, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity in donating to provide this fun project for my classroom. My students were so excited to see the gumball machine and all the prizes.
They looked forward to the end of the day, where students who showed great behavior and work during the day were chosen to get a prize from the gumball machine. It created a fun way to motivate students to do well and reach their goals while rewarding them for doing so in the process.
I am so thankful that I was able to make this a part of my classroom. I saw a positive change in each and every one of my students once this was introduced.”

Ms. Alissa
Cool Down and Relax
Funded Sep 24, 2021The calm-down corner created with the bean bags in this project has quickly become my students' favorite area of the room. We utilize this area all throughout the day, whether for free time, independent reading, aiding in coping strategies, or just a place to relax for a minute.
For many of my students, this has quickly become a place of comfort to them. One of my students even asked for one for Christmas for his house!
We are so grateful for your generosity. Know that it has not gone unappreciated! Thank you for helping to make our classroom a comfortable learning environment for our students to be successful in!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alissa

Funded Aug 22, 2021It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward "Sensory Supports for Special Education Classroom". With the awesome supplies, my students are able to focus and remain calm in an otherwise busy sensory overloading environment.
Students especially enjoy the light covers, bright lights can be very uncomfortable for them. It has gone a long way to make their classroom a place they enjoy and feel comfortable in!
Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alissa
