Ms. R's Flexible Seating
Funded Jul 28, 2022I would like to take this time to give a special thanks to you. It has been a long time since I have started off the school year with 20 students, however, the flexible seating has definitely given them a chance to move around the room and sit on and in different places while working or reading. We use the little circles for chairs or the floor. When they are in their reading station, which we are learning how to do they will pull out their favorite seat and relax while reading a book. It is amazing to see how many smiling faces I have after they get the chance to use the new equipment that we have been given.
I also have gotten a set of lava lamp looking things, one of my littles was having a really bad day and went to the calming corner and sat looking at that lamp looking thing for what seemed like an hour, but when he came back to the group he was so much better for it because he had the chance to go out the zone of school and relax with something so calming.
So again thank you for all the flexible seating and those lava lamp things. I am forever grateful..”
With gratitude,

Rennie's Alternative Seating
Funded Oct 19, 2021Good afternoon.. I am so excite to share my news with you about these amazing seats that came this week.
The students watched as I unpackaged each and every box. Their eyes lit up so much at the different things that came in the mail.
Now, mind you we had been practicing on different seating when the students come to small group each day. They sit on a crate that has a cushion I made on top. They also have the option of a colorful step stool, which make them a little taller at the table. Either seat is fine and I got to see which students like which.
Then, the mail and boxes came. The green chair lit their eyes up. The mats allowed them to lay on the rug or sit with a buddy on the rug with a book. The orange seats we are still trying to figure out. We think we have too much air in them and will adjust on Monday the air.
Now, next came the blue bouncy balls. I did not realize how much excitement I would in my students faces. Friday I allowed the first two girls in the room to see how they would interact with the balls.. Everyone came in and really wanted a turn.. I wanted to see what would happen.. Eventually later that day the two girls gave up the blue balls and passed them to their counter parts.. THE BOYs... They were so excited to be able to finally sit on them. Two made noises but for the most part, it was such joy just to see their faces with these blue bouncy balls.. If I had known and not every child or class is the same. I would have ordered more of the bouncy balls and let them choose which one they would have liked to sit in for the day.
My students are beyond grateful to you and your company for allowing us a chance to try out different types of seatings. Enclosed are the photos of their smiling faces.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Rennie
