Thank you for your great generosity! We, at Obama, greatly appreciate your donation, and your sacrifice. Your support helps to further our mission to help students in need. When I told the students, our room was fully funded they were beyond excited. Your support is invaluable to us, thank you again!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Stanga

Students in the Pittsburgh area come to school daily with trauma, mental health issues, anxiety and stress. In the Chill Zone, students will find a quiet space with comfortable places to sit and calming decor. This room is meant to help reduce stress levels, relax students, and it is a safe place for students to talk their emotions away. We have seen an increase in violence in our neighborhoods and school. The chill room, equipped with comfortable furniture, coloring books, an essential oil diffuser, and other de-stressing items, is a place for students to re-center themselves when everything becomes overbearing in the middle of a school day.
