I want to give my students a tangible products when designing for our classroom projects. Designing with a goal, audience, and purpose allows my students to become successful and gives them real world experiences to take with them beyond the classroom. These supplies will allow my students to make products and participate in a school art sale, fostering not only art skills but entrepreneurship too. Students will make stickers with their art, keychains, T-shirts, and other accessories to see the potential of their art/design. I'm hoping that by allow them access to these materials we can give them confidence in themselves and help them to grow communication skills, money management, business strategy, along with graphic design skills.
