My students have emotional disability. They are in a self-contained, multi-grade set up. All of them have poor reading and mathematical ability. They go to a public school where technology cannot be provided to every teacher. They are visual learners and they love to see various colorful instructional materials. I got a document reader, but I cannot use it for them because we do not have LCD. I once borrowed one from a friend who works in another school just for my students to see computer-aided instruction. They were so interested. They are asking me everyday as to when will I use an LCD again. I believe they will learn more if we have the LCD in our classroom. They were inspired to see big pictures and letters projected on the board. We are hoping for donors to respond to this request to make it possible for my students to have the opportunity to acquire knowledge using technology.
