Although I teach art, I love cross-curriculum learning and incorporating STEM into art to create STEAM!
I find that engineering and art can go hand in hand, and these magnatiles would be a great stepping stone to get students practicing their design and problem-solving skills, and learning to experiment.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student problem-solving skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. As attention spans get shorter and technology gets more popular, students rarely have a chance to create without guidelines. These magnatiles will allow students to exercise the part of their brain that allows them to think and problem solve, and not just follow directions on a screen.
