As we return to school after a pandemic and start a fresh new year, my students would benefit from a safe place to chill out. We can all get overwhelmed at times and just need a calming spot to relax. These comfortable chairs will help create a safe place where my students can retreat to when they experience these feelings and have trouble regulating their emotions. Once they feel refreshed, focused and rejuvenated they can return to their learning. This and the posters will help facilitate their social emotional learning, self-regulation,and overall academic success.

About my class
