Due to the pandemic students have been isolated and had to learn remotely, now they are back in the classrooms and this is an opportunity for students to engage in the learning process through working with partners and manipulating letters, building words, and doing number line Math. Math operations & Algebraic Thinking CCSS 1.OA.A1, A2, 1.OAC.5 !.OA.B4 Students will be working with partners with the number lines, and dice to solve Math problems and work to solve problems Students working with pattern blocks to access shapes and their attributes CCSS ELA L1.1.1A, L1.2.D, L1.5.B Working with letter tiles and word sorts to spell word with common spelling patterns, and make new words by changing the blend & digraphs, or vowels. With guidance and support sort words into categories (Word Their Way Sorts) Rewards and Incentives for community building and inspiration.
