The teaching materials will be used as a tier 2 intervention for struggling readers at school. Some students didn't grow their reading levels last school year due to remote learning or being quarantined multiple times. We have to make up for that during this school year. Levelized books will be used for independent reading at home and at school. Getting kids hooked on reading is essential. When they want to read, and start voluntarily reading, their reading levels begin to soar. My middle school students have difficulty finding books they can read independently in a middle school, public, or classroom library.
