I am writing to express our deepest gratitude for your generous contribution towards my 5th-grade class education. The impact of your support transcends the classroom walls; it fuels my students desire to learn, explore, and contribute meaningfully to the class discussions.
Thanks to your generosity, it has allowed us to acquire many resources on teacher pay teachers that help especially my new arrival students. These resources have helped my students who are new to the country and who are learning to read and write in Spanish.
Thank you so much for your generosity and your time.”

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time to donate to this project. Most of the materials my students use in class during reading, writing, and math. Currently, the highlighters, my students are using it for a research-based project where they need to read multiple resources and highlight relevant information for their thesis statement. During Math, they use it to highlight the relevant information in world problems. Also, in this project, I ask for 2 special chairs for the rug area where they are able to comfortably read their favorite books. In addition, there were really eager for this project because they knew they will be needing some of the materials to reach their goal. They were really happy with all of the things in this project.”

My sincere thank you for making this project possible. Since I am a bilingual teacher sometimes is very difficult to find worksheets online in Spanish for Math, Reading, and Writing and thanks to your donation I was able to purchase at Teachers Pay Teachers a lot of Spanish resources for my students to use.
The resources I bought I either printed it out to give to them (hard paper copy) or posted them on google classroom. Google Classroom is a platform that my school use where students can receive assignments and be part of an online community. The most exciting project I bought was a day-to-day google slice about "Women's History Month" where every day for the month of March, they learn about one woman and why they are/were so important to commemorate and to know about them.”
A million thank you's for donating to our bilingual 5th classroom. Your kindness won't go unnoticed, especially because my students were so excited after I told them that we have new books about non-fiction, especially in Spanish. Right now we are working in a non-fiction unit where they need to research an important person in history. One problem that I have in my class is that I barely can find books online in Spanish about biography and my students end up only reading English. But, now they are going to have a variety of books in Spanish that they can use in this unit of non-fiction.”

A million thank you's for donating to our bilingual 5th classroom. Your kindness won't go unnoticed, especially because my students were so excited after I told them that I had bags with multiple items for them to enjoy. This project was meant for my 4th graders last year, but the package did not arrive until the beginning of this year. However, I am still grateful because I have the same students as last year, now in 5th grade. Therefore the same students will be receiving the appreciation gif bags. I am so thankful for all the people that donated and make possible this appreciation gift. Thank you for inspiring me and my students to give and support people that needed it.
Thank you so much”

A million thank you's for donating to our bilingual 5th classroom. This is part two of another project asking for the same materials. Thank God I did it and people donated to it. Your kindness won't go unnoticed, especially because my students were so excited after I told them that we have new headphones. I started this project because since I had the same students last year in 4th grade and now in 5th grade, I saw how their headphones were in so poor condition after one year of being used. Therefore, I decided to do this project so my students have new headphones. You should have seen them when I showed the headphones to them. They were like wow Ms. Burgos is that for us?, I said Yes.
Thank you so much”

Thanks to you my students, my bilingual students have a really diverse library where they have amazing culturally responsive books. Some of the lessons introduced using some of the books are character traits, settings, story elements, read-aloud plus responses, and much more. Reading in my classroom is really important, therefore at the beginning of the day we start with a chapter book read aloud and then we have 30-35 minutes reading either in English or Spanish. Some of my students are really enjoying a lot of the books since they are culturally responsive and they can connect with the characters or the setting the book is taking place.
Thank you again.”

Thanks to you my students started a year with a clean space where they feel welcome and safe. With the material received we have a safe and secure classroom community where everybody shares the resources and maintains their table and area clean. The first thing they do in the morning is to put hand sanitizer on their hand as well as taking a wipe to clean their table to start the day with a clean hands and a clean table.
My students' reaction to all the boxes and materials was literally "wow". Some of them even ask why so many materials? as well as asking me who bought them?. I explained that thanks to DonorsChoose and such amazing contributors they could have a safe and clean environment.
As a classroom community, I always want my students and my classroom to be safe and clean. Thank you so much.”

A clean classroom environment, where they feel safe and protected agains viruses and germs, will ensure the well-being of my students. Basic cleaning supplies like wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, dust removers will minimize the spread of germs and diseases and will ensure that my students have a healthy school year. By having a clean classroom students will be able to embark on a clean and safe learning environment where they will be exposed to knowledge and many new adventures.
A clean classroom is a synonym for healthy students.
