We believe hands-on learning is a vital part of Kindergarten learning. A student who was 4 years old in August is now part of a thriving, bustling, active room full of curriculum that can be new and overwhelming. “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood,” Fred Rogers. My goal is to make our classroom welcoming to all, a fun place to learn, and to foster social-emotional learning through play.
