The manipulatives will give the students the opportunity to solve mathematical problems with hands on materials. I plan on using the activities to get the scholars excited about Math and closing the achievement gaps. Expose them to having concrete objects to help solve and talk out the learning. These manipulatives are powerful learning tools to help them remember and have a full impact on their math skills and life long learning experiences. By using the manipulatives, I would be able to keep the students attention, actively participating in the learning as well as engaging them in the lesson.
