Funded Mar 1, 2022This project helped me to end last year strong. I was able to finally get the room looking "back in order," and I had the supplies to not only replace used/broken items, but to save a few things for next year as well. My students are still able to use most of the items that were donated (even in the new school year).
I was able to use the bulletin board roll, anchor chart paper, staples, and masking tape to hang up the students' work inside and outside the classroom. This helped them to feel proud of themselves, and made them motivated to do their best!
We also use the playdoh, puzzle pieces, pom poms, etc. for craft days and for manipulatives to help us have hands-on learning to understand new things (letters, numbers, shapes, etc.).
These materials have meant so much to me and my students, and I will continue to use most of it for years to come!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mitchell
