These books will help my students develop an interest in reading, which will allow them to better master the standards of the class and prepare themselves for high school. They will be used for Literature Circles, an activity in which students read collaboratively and reflect on the novel as members of a book club would do. This will help them build interpersonal skills, as well as improve their literacy. And for students who spend the last year and a half learning remotely, this will be a huge boost to their self-esteem.

About my class
