  • Send Broken Crayons into Retirement

    When my scholars found out they were getting new crayons, they were ecstatic! They loved that they no longer had to sort through our broken crayon bin for a red or blue crayon.

    We began to use our crayons almost immediately. The crayons have helped us add more details to our writing/drawing, better understand addition and subtraction stories, and develop fine motor skills. We use them multiple times a day in almost all of our instructional blocks.

    Next up, our crayons will be used to create a class memory book of all the things we did this year! Thank you for all of your support in making our learning happen!”
