Organization is a Sign of Self-Respect
Funded Jul 25, 2024It has been quite a successful start to the school year due to your generosity and support in providing classroom essentials for my scholars. We are able to keep our supplies organized, and my students are learning responsibility and organization thanks to the materials you were able to provide.Students were extremely excited by their brand new supplies on the first day of school and have done a great job taking care of their materials over the last 10 weeks.
Our classroom library is filled with many books scholars love to read! They are able to browse easily due to our new bookshelf bought with your donations!
Once again, thank you so much for your generosity, support, and belief in me and my students. It truly takes a village and I am so lucky that you are part of mine.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Koltun
Books Please!

I have seen such joy in my scholars reading books they have requested! It is inspiring to see the next generation of doctors, lawyers, artists, designers, inventors, veterinarians, and so much more, be inspired by reading!
We truly could not do this without your support! Thank you for all of your help!”

A Lesson in Responsibility: Class Supply Refresh
Funded Jul 8, 2023My students and I are so grateful for your generous donations! We truly could not have started off our year this well without your support!
The excitement in the room was palpable when each scholar received their own personal material pouch including pencils, crayons, eraser, and a white board marker and eraser. They were also so excited about our many books in our library - particularly those that are part of some of their favorite series like Dog Man and Magic Treehouse.
I cannot thank you enough!”

Funded Sep 14, 2022I apologize for the delay in this message! My scholars and I have been busy growing our brains and building habits of character!
It is with immense gratitude that I write this note. My scholars and I are extremely grateful that you have given us the opportunity to have materials that allow us to express our creativity and make our classroom a home where we are able to grow.
Without your support, we would not have the vibrant classroom we have and would not be able to explore our curriculum in the creative and engaging ways we deserve.”

Animal Boxes
Funded Apr 20, 2022My students LOVED this project as a away to close out our school year. It was all made possible by you! We cannot thank you enough for helping us make amazing end of year memories together that we will cherish.
My students were able to put together everything they learned and express themselves creatively at the same time by reading, writing, and presenting about their animal as well as building its habitat and a model. I was so impressed by my students' work!
We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support! Thank you!”

Staying Strong: Material Refresh for Semester 2
Funded Jan 8, 2022Students were so excited to have new art materials - they especially loved the water color paints! Our face masks are used daily as students break, forget, or dirty their masks in order to keep us all safe and healthy to the best of our abilities!
Without your help I could not have sparked my students' excitement in art and provided each of them with their own water color set to explore the mixing of colors and different techniques.
My students and I are very grateful for your generosity and kindness. Thank you for supporting our classroom!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Koltun

Funded Aug 20, 2021Without these resources, I do not know where my class would be. These materials have allowed my 21 wonderful students to cultivate responsibility, independence, and creativity.
My scholars are thriving and enjoying learning again after a tough year online full of hardships and isolation. These materials have helped us to spark excitement in learning again and learn how to take care of their materials and each other.
Students are excited, still, when they receive a new box of crayons or pencil. These materials have led my students to enter the classroom with joy and curiosity while cultivating their sense of personal and communal responsibility and respect.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Koltun
