Flexible seating allows students to have seating options and take more control over their learning. It gives students more choices on where they work and with whom. Research has shown that flexible seating increases student engagement. Currently, my classroom consists of traditional chairs for the students to sit. I've noticed that students struggle to sit comfortably. Making students more comfortable is an essential component in motiving them. I believe my students will benefit from being given a choice in their seating. The items I have selected will help my students by giving them more seating options and boost their engagement.

About my class
