Hi all! I am a first year preschool teacher and I am working hard to create an inviting space where kids can learn, grow and let their creativity fly! In my opinion, the heart of any classroom is the library because books bring all kids together and reading stories creates a strong sense of community. It is so important that even the youngest learners have access to age appropriate books that can help them to develop a love for reading right off the bat. The Books on Wheels Mobile Cart would be extremely useful in a preschool classroom so that all the books are clearly labeled and children have the freedom to find the books they are interested in to read. As a teacher, this would also help me to keep my materials organized and improve the overall flow of the classroom. The Circle Time Learning Center would also be a great addition to our classroom as it would be a great visual aid during our morning meetings/center times. It would improve the flow of our meetings and make them more purposeful. Morning meeting is such an important part of preschool and having this tool in the classroom would really help my students access this material more easily and promote participation.
